This contemporary coastal development represents a departure from the mid-century brutalism often found in the Romanian littoral, opting instead for a layered, organic minimalism.

     The building is organized as a four-story longitudinal volume characterized by horizontal emphasis. The architectural language relies on a rhythmic interplay of deep balconies and cantilevered floor slabs that provide both functional outdoor space and passive solar shading—essential for the Dobrogea climate. The primary skin utilizes a warm-toned, textured stone or aggregate cladding, reminiscent of local limestone calcarenite. This provides a rugged, tactile contrast to the sleek glass surfaces. Slim wooden or composite louvers break the horizontal flow, introducing a “barcode” rhythm that offers privacy and visual warmth. Frameless glass balustrades are used to minimize visual weight, ensuring the structure remains “light” against the coastal horizon.

     The design prioritizes a seamless transition between the built environment and the Black Sea shoreline. The ground floor is recessed to create a sheltered pedestrian scale, while the integration of vertical greenery within the balcony niches softens the rigid geometry of the concrete. The building effectively utilizes a “staggered terrace” morphology, a technique frequently used in modern resort architecture to maximize sea views for every interior unit.

     The interior design of this hotel project represents a masterclass in organic futurism, where the boundary between architecture and atmosphere is intentionally blurred. From an architectural perspective, the interior is defined by a rhythmic fluidity, most notably in the lobby where a dramatic, sculptural ceiling of undulating white fins creates a sense of constant motion, mirroring the coastal location. This parametric approach is balanced by a material palette of polished stone floors, warm wood accents, and integrated greenery that grounds the high-concept geometry in a welcoming, human-centric environment. The guest suites transition into a more serene, “soft-minimalist” luxury, utilizing curved partitions and floor-to-ceiling glazing to dissolve the barrier between the private living space and the sea.

     From an archiviz standpoint, the project is a study in light and texture. The visualizations expertly capture the interplay between soft, natural daylight filtering through the facade and the complex artificial lighting schemes designed for the nighttime experience. The night renders of the reception area highlight how the back-lit parametric ceiling transforms the space into a luminous, atmospheric hub, with sharp reflections on the polished surfaces providing a high-contrast, premium feel. By focusing on the “micro-moments”—the glow of a hidden LED strip beneath a bed frame or the matte finish of the bespoke cabinetry—the renderings move beyond mere representation to sell a lifestyle of sophisticated, tech-integrated comfort.
