Cube Residence

Street View

Cube Residence in Constanța stands as a bold exercise in modular geometry, perfectly capturing the coastal city’s transition toward high-end, contemporary density. From an architectural point of view, the project is defined by its namesake “cube” motif—a rhythmic stacking of cantilevered volumes that create a deep, sculptural facade. These shifts in the building envelope are not merely aesthetic; they serve as functional deep-set terraces that provide essential solar shading and wind protection, crucial for the Dobrogea climate. The materiality relies on a sophisticated contrast between cool, white ventilated rainscreens and dark anthracite frames, resulting in a crisp, monochromatic silhouette that pierces the skyline.

The project is visualized to emphasize the interplay of stark shadows and Mediterranean light. The renderings leverage a high-sun position to cast sharp, geometric shadows into the recessed balconies, highlighting the structural depth that defines the “Cube” concept. To ground the building in its Constanța context, the visualization team likely utilized a “coastal” HDRI with a slight atmospheric haze, ensuring the reflections in the expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing capture the specific blue of the nearby Black Sea. High-fidelity shaders for the glass and metal railings are prioritized to convey a sense of premium “lifestyle” luxury, while the evening shots focus on the warm, 3000K interior lighting that transforms the rigid exterior into a glowing, cellular lantern.
